Somewhere along the way, "cheaper and faster" took over how most food gets grown. We went the other direction. Instead of spraying the orchard floor and running a diesel mower all summer, we put sheep on it. The Dorpers keep the grass down, fertilize the ground as they go, and become the grass-fed lamb we sell. No synthetic pesticides, no chemical fertilizers, no waste.

We're a small family operation — the same folks who plant and prune the trees pick, sort, and bag the pecans and hand them to the mail carrier. We'd rather be out in the orchard than behind a desk, which is why you won't find a wall of corporate headshots here.
